Sonic

Sonic is the unofficial head of the house, and takes the job seriously. Sonic can be a bit obsessive when it comes to keeping everything… not broken. He considers any day where nothing gets broken, blasted, obliterated, or affected by the Authors a good day.
Mario
Likes: Dancing
Dislikes: Getting jumped by Porkchop
Mario recently attended night school to learn English to escape his background role. It seems he's violently allergic to Mushrooms and has them replaced by truffles in his games. Mario is fairly nonviolent, but keeps his hammer around, just in case.
Samus
Likes: Technology, especially of the Chozo variety.
Dislikes: Metroids (a LOT)
Samus is the level-headed, one-woman security force in the house, and possibly the smartest resident. She likes a complete, non-damaged house as much as Sonic does, and is very careful where she aims that arm cannon. Samus believes in second chances, but Link proves to be a constant annoyance to her.
Kirby
Likes: Food
Dislikes: Not getting food
Kirby has a vocabulary consisting almost entirely of variants on the word "Pie-o." Despite this communication handicap, he might be the smartest person in the house. Kirby tends to hang out with Mario, but is fully capable of stealing the spotlight from the others if he needs to.
Link
Likes: Being the hero.
Dislikes: Girls in the hero role.
HATES: Being picked on by the Authors
Link is, to put it simply, a block head. While a superstar swordsman, archer, and hookshot user, he has absolutely no tact worth talking about. He'll say what's on his mind without thought of who he might insult or anger. Link's biggest obstacle in life is doors, seeing as he couldn't open one properly to save his life. Instead, he'll bomb the door open without checking to see if anyone's on the other side.
Porkchop
Likes: General chaos
Dislikes: Sonic, Samus, Link, Mario... you get the picture
Porkchop is a Chao of unknown orgins, although some possible theories are coming to light. As a young Chao, he stuck to tackling Mario, calling him "Sonic-chao!" and trying to steal Kirby's ramen. Now, as well as just before he matured, however, he's working his way up to bigger fish fries. Despite all the evidence presented by the other housemates, Sonic remains blissfully unaware of all this.
